Book Buyers Unite!

Yes, the economic situation is scary. Yes, people are watching their pennies. But books are still one of the best bargains around.

Buy a book for yourself or as a gift, then post the title and author's name in the comment trail. Every time a book is purchased, we'll add its cover to the slideshow. Fiction or non-fiction; cookbooks or comic books; children's, e-books - they're all good! When a book is mentioned more than once, we'll list it as a favorite below.

Go ahead! Tell the world: How many books did YOU buy today*?

I buy books and I used to sell books. That's why I know how important it is for people to keep their book buying in their local community if it is at all possible. Amazon is hurting local economies.
